Explanation Essay – My Dream Home

Reading the nutrition daily, floating up my elevator stairs or staring at a statue of Lord Farkward. Either one, today I am going to be talking about My Dream Home. I will be explaining the elements I want, to make my life more luxurious and full.

The pantries in my house would be the size of a walk in closet. It wouldn’t only have dry foods, but also refrigerated foods. Half of the pantry would be a fridge/freezer, stocked with fruits, vegetables, meat and much more. The other half would hold my dry foods which would be chips, rice, flour etc. Along with a nutrition pad for all of my health needs.

It’s hard walking up stairs, but also boring waiting for the elevator. So I would have multiple escalators all over my house. This would make it more easy and efficient for my body to get from place to place.

In my personal opinion, Lord Farkward is a handsome cartoon character. I would love to have him in my house, but of course he is fiction. So I would have to make him into a big, bold statue. Having him made out of gold, with diamonds encrusted into his crystally eyes.

From big pantries to big statues, those are the things I would want in My Dream House. There are many other things I would want in this “Dream House” of mine, but these are the must-haves. Could this house be more than a dream?

Korero of the Week – W1 Kawa of Covid/Covid Reminders

This week was our first assembly of 2022. We had to make a presentation to explain the korero, which was Kawa of Covid. Check out the slide to learn more! I made this with my friend/prefect Aye. Check out here blog here: https://pesayemyatl.edublogs.org/. Enjoy 🙂

Prefect Badge

This week, Friday, I got my Prefect badge. So did the rest of the Prefects and House Captains. In this photo you can’t see it very well, but it just has our school logo on it. With the word “PREFECT” on a fancy banner. The colours are silver for the outline, black for the main details, and red for the little details. It is an honour to have this position and badge, the rest of the school leaders would agree too! You can check out their blog’s here:

About Me – Kiarah 2022

Malo e lelei,

My name is Kiarah. I am a Year Eight student this year, and I’m in Room Four of Team Five at Pt England School. I have three teachers this year, Miss Hall and Mrs Stone who teach my home/maths class. With Mr Moran teaching my literacy class, he is the home class teacher of Room One.

Last year I was a new Year Seven to the Team Five block. This year I am proud to say that I am a Year Eight Prefect, I lead the school with seven other students. I hope to get far this year and do the best I can with the new position I hold.

Sports have become a big part of my life, it has helped me become stronger physically and mentally. In past years I have played Tag, Softball, Basketball and my main sport Netball. For this year we will just have to wait and see what comes next.

I aspire to be a lawyer when I get older, as I enjoy debating and helping others in need. This job has been a dream of mine since I was just seven years old.

I can’t wait to see everything that a new year and new me brings!
