Today we practised ratio, completing slides and working with measuring raro. We worked on measurements such as 80g : 1000ml, then simplified it to find out how much raro and water would be needed. The end result was 2:25, we got this by simplifying it from 8:100-2:25 or 4 tsp for 25 ml of water.

Today in class we practised Ratio. After completing the task we worked with raro juice to give us a more real feel.
Measurement practice – Maths
Today in our maths block we did a test on Measurement. Before the test our teacher gave us a revision task to work on. This really helped as we got to see what we had worked on before jumping straight in. In this task we worked on a wide spectrum of measurement. Such as area, perimeter, time and angles.
Phobia – Reading
This weeks reading task was about a book named: Phobia, by Peter Friend. We are learning to make connections and inferences within the text given. You can see some of this in action on slide 2, where we were tasked to answer questions about the book. The rest of the presentation is tasks to help us improve our vocabulary.

Today we worked on time again. Today’s questions were a bit more difficult.
Self Reflection – Persuasive Speech 2022
My speech was about the harmfulness of social media. I did my speech with a group of people last Monday. I really enjoyed my speech. I was the best in the class. I got a 10/10.
Adding Angles – Maths
Today I caught up on one of my maths tasks from last week. It is all about adding up angles with multiple different questions. We also made a poster about one angle discussing what it looked like and meant.
Reading a clock – Maths
Today we worked on a quick and easy task on how to read an analogue. There were just under 10 slides of work.
